Meet Our Founder/Director

Felicia Stewart is the Founder and Director of SkillsUp Healthcare Institute. A Registered Nurse, nurse educator, and proud retired U.S. Army veteran, she brings a strong commitment to service, leadership, discipline, and excellence to healthcare education.

For more than a decade, Felicia has dedicated her career to educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals throughout New Jersey. Her passion is helping students from all backgrounds develop the knowledge, confidence, and clinical skills needed to begin rewarding careers in healthcare.

Felicia understands that every student learns differently. She founded SkillsUp Healthcare Institute to provide a supportive learning environment where students receive personalized instruction, hands-on training, and the encouragement they need to succeed.

Throughout her nursing career, Felicia has served in healthcare leadership and educational roles, including assisted living administration, home health aide program leadership, practical nursing education, and clinical instruction. These experiences have prepared her to guide students while upholding high standards of patient care, professionalism, and academic excellence.
